Foreigners with a visa for more than 90 days in Korea must register foreigners WITHIN 90 DAYS after entering the country.
Following registration as a foreigner, you will receive an “Alien Registration Card” with a 13-digit Alien Registration Number.
If you have an Alien Registration Number, YOU CAN RECEIVE THE SAME SUPPORT AS KOREAN CITIZENS in medical care, web shopping, etc.

What to do when you arrive at the Immigration Office
- Pay the service fee (30,000 won) at the ATM, or 34,000 won if you’d like to receive your ARC by mail.Make sure you get a receipt.
- Wait for your reservation number to be called.
- When your reservation number is called, go to the counter.
- Submission of required documents and fingerprint registration.
- Receive application confirmation.
You will receive ARC in 1~3 months
