E-Mart indeed has the best selection. It’s the ideal place for buying a variety of food items in one place, and they even sell international seasonings and condiments.
E-Mart does not provide free shopping bags. You can either bring your own shopping bag or purchase the following shopping bags for a fee.
The pink shopping bags are priced at 490 won each, and they can also be used as garbage bags within Seoul city limits
No Brand
No brand is affiliated with the same company as Emart.
This Nobeand store primarily focuses on groceries, including meat and vegetables.
They also offer household items such as tableware, toilet paper, and detergents.
The meat prices at No brand are more budget-friendly compared to Emart.
No brand’s original products are known for their low prices and high quality, making them quite popular.
The store is always crowded, especially in the evenings and at night, with many foreign residents in the surrounding area.
DAISO
In South Korea, there are stores called “Daiso” that sell household items.
Daiso products are priced at 1,000 Korean won each, similar to Japan’s 100-yen shops.
Some items may cost 2,000 won or 3,000 won each, depending on the product.
There are two Daiso stores in Sinchon.
You can find everything you need immediately upon arriving in South Korea, such as toilet paper, slippers, shampoo, conditioner, toiletries, cleaning detergents, storage baskets, kitchenware like dishes, all at Daiso.
It’s a very convenient store.
ARTBOX
ARTBOX is a novelty store that sells adorable items. They offer small electronic gadgets like hairdryers and curling irons, as well as computer-related accessories such as USB devices, keyboards, and Wi-Fi routers. You can also find character-themed accessories and other unique items at ARTBOX that you won’t find at Daiso.
